Return Policy
Effective Date
This Return Policy applies to all products sold by TM Sewing Machines Doctors (Pty) Ltd.
1. General Policy
We are committed to supplying high-quality industrial sewing machines, spare parts, and accessories. If you experience any issue with your purchase, please contact us immediately so that we can assist you.
2. Return Period
Products may be returned within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery or collection, provided they meet the conditions below.
3. Conditions for Returns
A product will only be accepted for return if:
It is in its original condition.
It has not been installed, used, damaged, or modified.
It is returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
A valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is provided.
The return has been approved by TM Sewing Machines Doctors before the item is sent back.
4. Faulty or Defective Products
If a machine or product is found to have a manufacturing defect covered under the manufacturer's warranty:
TM Sewing Machines Doctors will inspect the product.
The product may be repaired, replaced, or referred to the manufacturer for warranty processing.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, incorrect installation, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty upon delivery:
Machines that have been assembled, installed, or used.
Special order or custom-built machines.
Electrical components, belts, needles, bobbins, and consumable items that have been opened or used.
Products damaged through customer misuse or negligence.
6. Incorrect Orders
If TM Sewing Machines Doctors supplies the wrong product, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the goods. We will arrange for the correct item to be supplied as quickly as possible.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method after the returned goods have been inspected and approved.
The following charges are not refundable:
Delivery or courier charges.
Installation charges.
Call-out fees.
Service or repair labour charges already completed.
8. Restocking Fee
Approved returns that are not due to supplier error or manufacturing defects may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
9. Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to an error by TM Sewing Machines Doctors or a confirmed manufacturing defect, the customer is responsible for all return transportation or courier costs.
10. Right to Refuse Returns
TM Sewing Machines Doctors reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with this Return Policy.
