Shipping Policy
Effective Date
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with TM Sewing Machines Doctors (Pty) Ltd.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday to Friday during normal business hours, excluding public holidays.
Orders are processed once full payment has been received and cleared.
Orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days, depending on product availability.
Customers will be notified if there is any unexpected delay in processing their order.
2. Shipping Areas
TM Sewing Machines Doctors delivers industrial sewing machines, spare parts, accessories, and equipment throughout South Africa.
For international deliveries, customers must contact us for a quotation and delivery arrangements before placing an order.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated according to the delivery destination, package size, and weight.
Shipping charges will be quoted before the order is dispatched.
Large industrial machines may require special freight arrangements, and additional charges may apply.
4. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
Major cities: 1–3 business days
Regional areas: 2–5 business days
Remote areas: 3–7 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, weather conditions, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available so you can monitor your shipment.
6. Collection
Customers may collect their orders directly from our premises after:
Full payment has been received and confirmed.
The customer has been notified that the order is ready for collection.
Proof of identity and proof of purchase are presented upon collection.
7. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.
If the shipment is:
Damaged,
Incomplete, or
Incorrect,
please notify TM Sewing Machines Doctors within 48 hours of receiving the order. Failure to report damage or shortages within this period may affect any claim.
8. Delivery Delays
TM Sewing Machines Doctors is not responsible for delays caused by:
Courier companies,

Public holidays,
Industrial action,
Road closures, or
Any event beyond our reasonable control.
We will, however, make every reasonable effort to keep customers informed and assist in resolving delivery issues.
9. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.
Ownership of all goods remains with TM Sewing Machines Doctors until full payment has been received.
10. Incorrect Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Additional courier charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information will be the responsibility of the customer.
